Snowmen

Susan Rios Latest Painting; see http://www.susanriosdesign.com/index

I am still working on a few small snowmen made of fabric, and the email came with Susan's painting in the delightful colors. In this country we make our snowmen round and very fat. They last longer as the weather warms up and just get thinner.

I love the party or celebration taking place in this painting. I like snowmen, and your fabric snowmen are a great idea. Last year my teens rolled huge, huge balls, but they were too big to make into snowmen (unless my husband would have lifted them with the tractor).

Yes that is a problem you have to teach the children about. The first roll can be huge , as it does not need to be lifted, but the 2nd and third roll have to be light enough to lift. I like making snowmen really fat and as winter gives way to spring they melt down into skinny things

I am getting g a few more snowmen ready made of fleece. I have been really sick for several weeks but this is something I can do sitting in an an easy chair.

Hmmmm...
I'm round and very fat. Suppose I'll last longer? ~smile~ Actually, I'm melting a bit with Trim Healthy Mama.

It would certainly be nice to get thinner as the snow melts, like the snowmen! What a great concept. Aren't we supposed to be fat in winter and thin in summer?
