A Lovely Lord's Day

Yet another hostess, a fine Christian lady (I knew her when she was 5 years old - our families interacted a lot in the old days) has taken us to worship. It was all done in simplicity with fine singing and the memorial of Lord's Supper.  After,  the preacher's wife served a simple morning tea in her kitchen. I brought her the recent Victoria Classics teatime magazine and a teacup.

One of her mother's chairs.

A garden bowl of lettuces . What a good idea. I am going to do that when I get back.

The meal my hostess prepared at her house.

The church tea offered by the preacher's wife earlier.

Lunch later.

The teacup I bought here and gave my hostess.

Her darling house.

Korina plum bread.
Her livimg room.

What a beautiful thing to do, a lovely kindness. How nice you could eat lunch there!

What a lovely visit you had. It is so refreshing to see all the green bushes and the beauty of her home and hospitality. What a gracious hostess. Blessings on your Sunday dear sister....Love Kelly
