November Painting

I am still using the child's paint box because I do not know how long my interest in painting sewing designs will be, but I do have proper water color paper this time, which was worth the price.

I enjoy this concept....the idea of using a different medium to reflect upon a project; in this case, watercolors reflecting on a sewing project. You have inspired me to pull out the watercolors next time my children paint...so that I can use them, too!!

Oh Lydia,

Your painting turned out beautifully. I love the softness of it and the surrounding background.

Am very busy at the present, but at some point like to learn to paint by water color.
Is there a YouTube site that you would recommend on how to paint by water color method? I would like to share this with my daughter's and grand daughters.

Thank you for sharing, Janet.

Your art work is so beautiful, and so are your dresses.
The colors and background go together so well.
You are very talented.

Thank you ladies. I have a lot to learn but need to take the time to study more about it.

I really like your drawing and painting. I would find that
relaxing to do as a hobby. Love Kelly

How wonderful you take time to paint. I do love to pain--so much. I have not had the time lately. Thanks for the inspiration!

haha-- "paint", not "pain" :)

I think this is another lovely self portrait of a watercolor painting. It looks so serene...
We must make time to do these kinds of things, it helps to keep us in a creative state.
Really lovely...
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
