Benefits of the Sea Coast

Whenever anyone in our family needed a health boost, we would go to the coast. The air and the sand did wonders for the skin, and the ocean atmosphere in general made us feel close to God. I know the beach is a place of prayer for many people!

We found that breathing the ocean mist seemed to enhance our health in many ways. Walking on the beach can clear your mind of many worldly problems.

You had to be careful walking at the beach I lived by. Natural seepage brought black tar balls up on the sand and if you weren't careful the bottoms of your feet would be covered. Nail polish remover took it off.
I lived by the ocean for 7 years and loved it on quiet nights when even the traffic sound was muted and you could hear the buoy horns warning boats where the shoals were.
I never go in the ocean but I enjoy going to the beach for a quiet dinner at one of our favorite restaurants and watch the tourists walk, skateboard and bike by.

I miss the Atlantic...and the Gulf....I live too far from both now.

Maybe this is the reason I think of my happiest time was when we lived on the Gulf coast of Florida.

I enjoy, immensely, walking on a sandy beach.
"I go to the sea to breath", has been a favorite saying. It is displayed on my refrigerator.

Hello, I agree and I feel that the ocean is a wonderful way to relieve stress and realize that in the grand scheme of things the ocean allows us to see the greatness of our God. I love looking for shells and seeing the hypnotic waves that come in and go out! The Pacific ocean is gray and blues in color and is much colder than the Atlantic ocean but I love salt water and sandy beaches and the salty air!! I will take the ocean walk and view any day, except of course when a hurricane is blowing in LOL
Blessings, Roxy

My family has been vacationing annually to the Florida Gulf coast for 25 years now. We do take other vacations, but everyone's favorite is the beach. There is just something about the water, waves, sand, and breeze that "take you away" to a better place. We look forward to it all year, and are so sad to leave. My children are so relaxed and happy when we are there. I thank God that He created such a beautiful and peaceful place for us to enjoy. :-)
