Just cut out 2 (for 1 pocket)or 4 (for 2 pockets) pieces of the fabric you are using and sew them onto the sides of the front and back skirt pieces before you sew the side seams. Press them out and put your side pieces together and make your seam sewing around the pocket. It has co-ordinating roses and bows. I will post a picture of it so you can see what the package is like. It is Offray brand and comes in lots of colors.
