    That was brilliant!!! So much prettier than the gift boxes at stores that run well over $3 each!

    What's also very cool about this is that you can make one anytime and show some unplanned and unexpected generosity. I can see making one the day you run out of butter, making some cookies, and taking them to a friend just because. I love it!!!

    This is a wonderful idea! I recently bought some butter in the 8 oz. packages (2 cubes) because it was on sale and so it is already the perfect size! I am looking forward to trying this out! Yours looks so pretty!

  23. Wallpaper would work nicely, too and maybe wouldn't do the wrinkling so much as thinner papers. I always seem to have odd shaped wall paper left overs.

    I like the textured bottom that you have on the Cheerios box. I think you must have taken that from the pretty placemat? I have textured wallpapers that might be pretty to use that way, too.
