Ashokon Farewell

  1. Very nice. I can see this on a movie scene depicting a dance in a cabin in the western days. Otherwise, for a non-dancer, like me, it's just a beautiful piece to listen to on a quiet evening. How lovely for a family to have a resident fiddler, or some other kind of musician. Thanks for sharing.

  2. It is actually a modern tune with the elements of historical tunes, and can be found on YouTube played by just about every instrument available, and an orchestra, as well as sung by a chorus.

  3. Good evening, Mrs. Sherman! What a lovely rendition of this, one of my favorite songs!

While I'm here, I want to invite you and your daughter back to my blog, which is now public.

I hope y'all are doing well this Autumn! It's been one of the prettiest ever in my neck of the woods.
