Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Petersen, Lillian started sewing before we had time to show her how. She could not wait. I never could catch her cutting out the pieces but I noticed sheds didn’t have the leftover scraps I always have: just an end piece or a strip of fabric, which she used for a belt or tie. I still have not seen exactly how she cuts it but I’m hoping her blog will reveal it. She uses rectangles and squares and makes tucks and pleats for fitting.
Thank you for sharing this with us! I am looking forward to reading more. Sewing inspiration is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteI just went to her site and read her introduction. I am looking forward to her sharing her skills. Thank you for sharing her link. ~Mrs Peterson
