Still Here

Hello Ladies,

All is well here at The Manse. I have a very busy life this month
but I plan to resume video visiting with you soon
Harvest left us this scene. It is like waking up to a city when the hay is blocked and stacked into structures.

I baked some brioche bread for visitors.

Queen Anne’s Lace wildflower is thick here along roads and paths.

This is a natural sunset.  Sunrise had been vibrant too.

I am trying to keep quiet to save my voice for you and I’m taking a lot of notes for the next video talk.

  2. I am glad you are "still here". I enjoy your talks. But you have posted very nice things here today and I agree, just seeing hay in the fields is a simple beauty and testimony of hope. Life goes on with planting and harvesting, the Bible speaks much on this subject.

  4. The picture of your bread made my mouth water! We too have seen hay, not so much stacked like you have, but the tractor sounds are working all day and then I see the barns around us being filled. Almost time for the semi-trucks to start coming for them. Fall is near.

I too have been unusually busy. We went for an overnight trip to Ouray, first little vacation in 2 yrs due to his ministry work. I am grateful for the chance to see how God creates such amazing things in different places. Now I'm letting my body rest and recoup after all the driving and walking.

It will be good to see you again. Any sewing projects going on? I just had the stitching on a skirt band come undone while in the washer. It's a string waist, so it should be easy, but something to add to my list.

Fall is coming so I am trying to find help to get the wood stacked. Someone suggested checking with our church's college kids. Two strapping young men come to mind.

A friend is coming from Georgia next week. She has never flown alone, and has only been outside the state twice in her life. I'm praying God grants us cooler weather as we don't have A/C in Colorado. She can't even imaging NOT having A/C.

Sending blessings and a warm cup of tea,
    Dee
