Hello Everyone,
Thank you for coming and thank you for your prayers and the wonderful comments.
Today's words to look up:
Serenity
Tranquility
We do love our fog, as you see here.
Looking through this 1989 edition of Victoria.
On the broadcast today I read aloud about Cyrus the Great, who was noted in scripture.
I listed in previous posts and in this video the following things for young women to include in their lives at home:
-feminine dress
-homemaking
-hospitality
-tea time
-letter writing
-leisure: art, literature, hand-work, music, reading, writing, walking, nature activities
This message is for daughters at home and the parents will benefit also. I have a 4th one in this series but not got it loaded up and posted. I have to attend to a birthday and get the kitchen back in working order ☺️
Thank you for this series and the wisdom you’ve shared. Everything you said is profoundly true and how much heartache could be spared if our daughters could be content at home. Very grateful for this conversation and shared it with my 17 year old daughter. She’s on the cusp of major life decisions so I’m hoping this will offer her much food for thought.
ReplyDeleteBless you for pouring your heart and soul into this topic.

I enjoyed today's broadcast. It was good to hear some of the things to keep in my heart, even if I don't have teenagers to teach, it's good for me.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I first found you, and a few other homemakers 'way back when'. We all posted on our blog, and there wasn't YT. I'm actually thinking of going back to blogging in January. I've realized how much I lean into you for keeping me company or just seeing what you are doing to inspire me. I think many ladies may be looking for the ways we live, especially Christian values, and it may be beneficial to share my experience.
I have given up YT, as have learned they created it to be addictive and I don't get any housework or Leisure time for myself if I get lost on there. Your channel being in your blog is the only thing I "watch", or listen to. I am so grateful you learned how to do that.
Blessings to you, and I wish you joy and hope during this season of waiting for Christmas.
I miss your brilliant homemakers forecast . It was so unique. Great substitute for the world’s dreary forecast on mainstream media. You also had your own poetry .
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at my friends who homeschooled and then MAKE their girls work at age 18 despite the fact that their oldest got pg at her first job when she was 18! I agree with all that you said.
