Hello Everyone,
At the request of some of my readers and listeners, I have created some videos dealing with the problem of sudden stress in the family. While I cannot know personally about every person's family situation, I tried to cover some of the basic things.
Today's message is to encourage young people to live at home, rather than paying the high price of leaving.
Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them.”

I have enjoyed the series although I have no children. I have older step children and grandkids, they are non-believers and we have them here for the holidays etc., but we are not close. They all live with high stress and thrive on drama which can take me days to recover from when I have been around them (2 of them claim to be atheists) and the lessons have shed a new light. Thank you.

I have been enjoying your broadcasts pertaining to handling stressful events in our homes as wives, mothers, daughters, etc… I ordered 2 copies of Barbara Johnson’s book- one for me and one to share. I appreciate the resources and special links you include for us to gain more knowledge and encouragement in resourceful living. Most of all, thank you for sharing God’s Word. We gain true, trustworthy wisdom when we apply it, as you said. I discovered some authors through the years can change; Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! His word is settled and He will not change. 😊You have put a lot of time and effort into this latest series of talks and it is greatly appreciated.

I watched this video while I thoroughly cleaned the kitchen and made a batch of banana "blondies." I thank you sincerely for this last series of videos, which has had so much good advice and wisdom in it.
I wanted to mention also that I have that "Back to Basics" book and love it! It has a bit of everything in there. I've referred to it many times for projects I wanted to do around the homestead. Most recently, I referred to it when I was teaching a class on braided rugs at our homeschool co-op.
This really made me think about what is important to teach my girls. Thank you so much for this. I focus so much on their religious formation and reading, but I tend to forget about some of the practical things that would be beneficial for us all to know. There is freedom in our salvation, and there is also freedom in self0sufficiency from the government and big business.

Oh, I'm loving this one. We have 5 children, 4 in their 20's and 1 that's 17. The only one that's left home is the married one. Our only daughter will be married this spring, just shy of her 28th birthday, and yes she's always lived at home. We are definitely an oddity to the majority of our friends and family. It has enabled our boys to save a lot of money, so that when they do move out, they are able to start out on a good footing.
So glad you all came to visit and yes it’s good to warn young children about these things.I plan to make one more episode on this subject.
