International Home Makers

I'm going to separate the homemaking sites into two parts: one is for the U.S. and another will be international. That way, if your blog is from Spain or Uganda, other homemakers in your country can find someone near them if they like. If you want to be on the international list on the side bar, please post and I will move your blog to that section, or add any new ones.

Dear Lady Lydia -- I do not have a blog, but I would be interested in reading homemaking sites for both the US (where I live) and international. My husband is Italian, and we live a very Italian lifestyle here in the US as well as visit his home village each year, and I'd like to read what others interested in European homemaking have to say.
I look forward to being able to see the links.
Thank you for all you do for women.

Hello Lady Lydia,
A kindred heart you are. I would love to be part of the international blog list if possible please. How exciting to share with the world God's plan for keeping the woman in the home and exposing the enemy for trying to remove her from her God created position! Thanks so much for the opportunity and looking forward to sharing and reading with and about others.
Lady at Domestically Inclined.

Please keep the blogs coming, if you are a homemaker outside of the US. Let me know if you want your name prefaced with the word "Lady".

It is exciting to see new ones added on the sidebar on the international section. I would like to see each person in their national costume or at least a picture or painting that would be representative of the national costume, on the blog. Also, if it isn't too much to ask, what about a little flag somewhere that shows us your country's flag.

Patricia: so far, there is no one from Italy with a blog to add to the side. You could get a blog (just click the "b" in the upper right corner and get your own, for free, and put something on it about Italy.

Speaking of international homemaking blogs, can you tell me if Sandra of Creative Housewife still has her blog? I don't see it on your sidebar any more.

many thanks,
Brenda

Sure, I would love it if you would preface my name to Lady Candy. That would be lovely.
I love how your sidebar looks with the "International Blogs", what a great idea!

Hi Lady Lydia
This is so exciting. I would love to be on your sidebar. My blog is called Fruitful Vine. The address is www.jennifervalerie.blogspot.com. I called myself Lady Jennifer when I was much younger so you could put that as my title in your sidebar or you could just use my blog name Fruitful Vine. Either one is fine. I feel so honored. Have a blessed day.

I have a question as well. I have a flag of my country on the left sidebar at the top is that enough or would you also like to see something else representative of my country. Just let me know. Thanks.

That's a nice idea. It will be fun for us in America to be able to explore the sites of other countries as well.
I like that you put the country next to the titles. :)

Jenn, your flag looks good where it is!

Mrs. Alexandra just got so busy at home, she didn't want to take out time to maintain the site so she put it away for awhile.

"Lady" at Domestically Inclined again...I guess I should clarify...I would love to be part of your international effort. I am in the US and would love to be added to you list. I have gone by "Lady" since I started the blog. It would be nice to be a part of the "Ladies"

I'll add "lady " to anyone on the US list of homemakers as well!

Thank you!

Lady Cess in the Philippines: Your link doesn't seem to work very well...did I type it in wrong? Do you still have an active blog? Click on from the International section on the side bar and see...

Lydia said...

If there is anyone on the Homemaker's links that is outside of the continental US please let me know so I can remove you and put you in the international section.

Lydia said...

These blogs don't have to be about homemaking. They are just blogs of other homemakers.

Could any younger, experience blogger tell me how to get the homemakers blogs on the sidebar, in alphabetical order? I didn't see a setting for that.

Jennifer C. Valerie said...

Look at the top of the list of links when you are adding a new link. It should give an option via a drop down box for sorting alphabetically by blog title. Let me know if that helps.

Lady Lydia, you had referenced Alaska in your list of far away bloggers. I am in Alaska and I have a blog. If you want to add it to either blog list, you are more than welcome. However, since it is so new, it definitely is not as polished and wonderful as the other blogs on your list. I would ask that you peruse it first and make sure it is up to your standards. I PROMISE I will not be upset if you want it to "grow up" a little and decide not to list it :-). You will not hurt my feelings :-).

Here is the link http://sparrowinthesnow.blogspot.com/
Thank you for your time.
