Keeping Focused, Living Our Faith

Please enjoy your home while you listen. Today I am talking about keeping focused, and how homemaking is part of our faith.

I like the words they use:  All Glory Be to Christ! Turn on the captions on the video to read or sing along with this beautiful song.

Challenges, Gracious Living, Thankfulness

Hello Everyone,

Please enjoy your home while you listen:

Today I suggested you find out about three terms:

Nihlism
Gnosticism
Cynic

It is valuable for home keepers to be aware of the teachings behind these names, because the home has to be guarded against beliefs that weaken the family.

Also, remember to try a 5 minute chair stretch exercise and do it each day. I use Fabulous 50's on youtube but you may find whatever suits you.

Your comments are always appreciated,

For those of you concerned with health, particularly regarding masks laden with bacteria, here is a link to Dr. Shiva’s research on that subject:

Thriving at Home

Keeping you company while you work at home today, and suggesting ways to thrive instead of just surviving in captivity.

A couple of whole room views today.  I've had company and there is always a small margin of time to get a pictures before occupation.

This year as in the past, I put ornaments in bowls around the house, which makes everything easier to put away.

In the video today I spoke of Joshua Phillip, of The Epoch Times talking to someone about the nature of communism. Here is the link. It is not much more than we already knew but gives a good perspective on the attitude which that prompts the beliefs of this anti-Biblical idea.  This is good education for homemakers, because they are supposed to guide and guard the home, and that includes being able to refute false beliefs that destroy home life. Among the goals of communism and Marxism is total destruction of the family.  As you listen, you might notice a few things that people say and do that bring down the strength of the family, and denigrate the home.

Spending the Holiday Alone?

This is for ladies who are home alone today. The video is at the very end.

There is sort of a home tour here:

Here is the home-alone challenge for you:

1. Preparation (appearance, list, other)

2. Exercise

3. Walk

4. Clear the clutter

5. Set the table for tea--two place settings so it looks like company.

6. Prepare the sandwiches and scones.

7. Take yourself to tea.

8. Watch a movie -- I suggested Auntie Mame  (Rosalind Russel)

9. Using an art journal, record the events of the day, including the previous 8 challenges.

10. Write a story.

11. Create a list of things to do before they become urgent.

And here is a hymn for your enjoyment
