Shepherd of the Home, Noises of the Home (With Video)

Saw this at the Hobby Lobby:
I reviewed the book— The Way of the Shepherd

The lilacs are in bloom

I spoke of household sounds that give us health and stability, as you can see in this video.  Look for others like it on YouTube:

We are enjoying the exquisite delicate apple blossoms!!! I must find a tea cup to go with .

Enjoy listening today, no matter what you do or do not do.

I enjoyed The Shepherd. (Don’t tell the sheep) “Watch out, there’s a wolf!” So turn off the wolf gossip and the wolf TV. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing, but a wolf is a wolf, even in disguise.

i really enjoyed so much in this video. The Shepherd book is wonderful- I have been pondering tPsalm 23 this last week so this was timely. Also after listening this morning to the video i paid closer attention as I did my housework and did a few things outside. The birdsong , the swishing of the broom, water running over the dishes, even the sizzle of lunch heating in the skillet.
Thank you ,Lydia, for helping me to calm down and get grounded and contented after having several 'stirred up' days.

Yes that book explains Psalm 23 from a shepherd experience. My children still love that book and I have bought several copies .

This reminds me of the clergyman Mr. Beebe in the book A Room With a View “ when he said, referring to the way Lucy played Beethoven, “Naturally, one would be stirred up by such music.”

I will definitely be listening to this one more than once because I want to glean ALL of the goodness that I can. I woke up this morning feeling a bit “off” so I listened to this broadcast while I ate breakfast. It was so calming and helped me to eat slower and pay attention to my food as well as calming my nervous system. Thank you! I’m so happy that you’re broadcasting more often. 🌸

I forgot to mention that your reminder to pray for our lost/wayward children was a blessing too. And to keep on with your life even amidst the heartbreak. Your sharing how you keep quiet in groups was good as well. So much goodness to glean!
