Hello and Welcome!
Blue light comes half an hour after sunset and creates such a nice picture.
I was so pleased with the recent Victoria magazine. It was similar to the first issues back in the late 1980's with all the homey things in it, only much better. The main feature was Anne of Green Gables and Prince Edward Island.
Bookmarks I’m using from the Ephemera section of the Hob Lob:
Here are the words to the song I mentioned:
The books I spoke of today:
505 Quick Tips by Terry Willits is a book I highly recommend. Use this book as a textbook for a little scrapbook with your ideas in it. Ladies of all ages will find this book a treasure.
I know vital women who collect paper dolls. This book can give ideas of making your own, including a house to put them in.
I like this little craft book with projects that can be quickly completed, relaxing the mind for a few minutes each day.
I was given some Sumatra coffee and explained more about it.
Ladies of all ages might enjoy these Barbour Book publications which also have parchment type edges on the pages. This company publishes encouraging materials.
Please enjoy your home while you listen:

Dear Lydia, this was a wonderful video. You look lovely with your hair down, by the way. :-) I love hearing you talk about books and magazines, crafts and recipes, pretty much everything. :-) I really miss the older times when I was young. The world is so different these days, and I yearn for the simpler times. I try to make changes that make my home a haven and embrace good memories from the past. Thank you for taking the time to make this video, and to teach the younger women. God bless you and your family! :-)
Jennifer and all ladies who comment: Thanks for saying such nice things. It’s such a lovely edifying gesture. I’m trying to post more often for you all— young and old alike.
I've been loving your conversations series, Lady Lydia and now I love
the reading materials one!!!
just wanted to let you know!!
God bless you!!
Carolyn
Good morning Mrs Sherman,
I am thankful to the Lord that you are well.
Also, thank you for the two new videos posted, I have found them helpful so far. Thankfully I haven’t finished them yet so I have much to look forward to.
Thank you Mrs Sherman for your labours, it is such a provision of the Lord.
Pray you have a wonderful Lordsday and that your husband will know the unction of the Spirit.
Btw, we are expecting again. God willing a little girl — very excited to go through the Christian charm course!
Much love,
Tamika
Soo happy to see you, i changed my bed linens and cooked up eggplant parmesan and homemade sauce while listening, i was worried about you since you werent on in so long, you liik soo beautiful, i want to look for that coffee.
Hello! I love the book recommendations as well hearing you read while I'm busy. I would also love if you shared different more natural cleaning things you use (vinegar foe example) and makeup. You've shared those things in the past, but I'd love a refresher. I'm middle aged and my youngest son is 14 and homeschooled. Thank you for the time you spend on these videos. ๐ฉต
Good subjects to cover. I might be able to do this. Thanks for the reminder.
Hello Lydia,
I was happy to see and hear all the lovely information you had for us in this video. It was posted at just the right moment since I have been trying to finish sewing on a quilt I need to get done by next week. I really don’t like deadlines when it comes to sewing projects, but this just has to get finished this week. You helped me relax while I sewed, sewed, sewed ๐งต ๐No more Stress sewing while listening to homemaker radio. THANK YOU!๐
Blessings,
❤️Holly
Good morning Mrs. Sherman,
Thank you for sharing the Mrs. Read series. I had never heard of it- even after twenty plus years of home schooling. We enjoyed reading aloud ๐ together so much. I'll be able to share these with the next generation of our family! For now, I'm enjoying them.
Warmly,
Virginia
Hello Mrs. Sherman, thank you for the reminder that I need to buy coffee! My husband likes a medium roast, though. Cheers! Mrs. V
That tree at the top is magnificent! You captured a vivid picture.
I enjoyed listening to your presentation. My favorite part is your idea to get outside, take picture of some flower or something, and send it to a friend. That is something I would like to do. Thank you for all the encouragement!
I listened to this talk while I tidied up the kitchen and made a pasta supper. I wanted to comment that the lavender coloured bow in your hair is so pretty! It matches your top perfectly also. You always look so put together. :)
