Have a look at this! http://twotalentliving.com/?p=379
This makes my heart sing...and look, folks, we got nominated somewhere, I believe. This is such a wonderful idea, because it gives people a worthwhile goal of doing well on the web. It rewards them for doing good, and it motivates others to leave behind something of value in their path. I don't know about you but sometimes in the course of searching for blogs, I'll come across the most ridiculous and insidious stuff. There are some blogs that are blatantly bad, and they speak for themselves, but the ones that are really sad are the ones written by young people about the worthlessness of life. Here, someone has listed a lot of beautiful blogs. I realize in publishing this, it will cause many people to look who otherwise were not aware of these publications, so if you post, be sure to be polite!
The originators of this were both inspired and brilliant, and a positive reinforcement for those who use blogs for a purpose. There is so much creativity going on the world, and so much talent, I think that blogging will become even more populuar.
Enjoy,
Lydia

In blogger, it's a little bit complicated if you aren't familiar with html (I don't remember if you are or not - sorry!).
In your blog dashboard, go to the Template tab. It's in all that code in the box at the bottom.
I tried to post the code here for you, but it won't let me. Try going to the help section - http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=110&topic=22 has the step-by-step instructions how to do it.
It can be done, but it's a bit complicated!
Hope that helps you a little bit! If not, feel free to email me or whatever.
Hello,
There are two ways I know of to add links onto the sidebar. I have tried both and I prefer the second one. The first way involves typing the in html code and the link in your template section. (At least that's how it works on blogger.) The second way is to sign up with blogrolling.com. It is free. You simply type in the url and they somehow get it into your blog's sidebar. It's really easy to use. I have added and deleted links on my sidebar this way.
YOu put the following html code all together in a line:
<
li
>
<
a
space (hit the space bar- don't write 'space!') href
=
"Insert URL for the website you want"
>
Type the title for the website
<
/
a
>
<
/
li
>
OR take out all the * from this, and that will show you what you want to paste into the sidebar of your template. As for exactly where to paste it, I can't remember.=)
*<*li*>*<*a *href*=*"*http://heartkeepercommonroom.blogspot.com/*"*>*The Common Room*<*/*a*>*<*/*li*>*
