Tea in Arizona

A friend who had tea recently in Arizona was impressed with How authenthically British it really was.  It would be, wouldn't it?  It is run by a lady from England. It is the English Rose Tea Room in Carefree, Arizona.

It is also a shop full of tea things.

Her favorite on the menu was Ploughman's  lunch, above.

You know Americans adore everything British:
People who like tea time want to be British.

You might not be able to realize your dream of going to England, but maybe you can go to Arizona.

Good evening Lydia!
This would be a fun place to visit! I'd love to just browse for hours while sipping on tea!
Enjoy your weekend!
Hugs, Amy

How delightful! What a beautiful tea room. Her lunch looked wonderful too.
I love all things British myself. I must take tea in a tea room soon...it's been entirely too long...about 5 years! Love Kelly T.

This is a beautiful post, Lydia! And you're right, when it comes to tea, we love all things British. I did get to go to England years ago, but I would love to visit this shop, too.
Have a wonderful weekend!

The photos are lovely. I live in Northern Ireland and we love a cup of tea here just as much as the English. Northern Ireland is part of the UK after all. Perhaps the most welcome and refreshing cup of tea is the breakfast "cuppa."

I hosted a Royal Wedding tea a few years ago at this very tea room. It was such a charming day.
