Hi Lydia - I got your joke about your mandates - loved it.... really made me laugh out loud when you said it!!! We all do certainly need to remember to laugh - it's such good medicine for the soul & mind and singing - I sing a lot on a Karaoke App with people all around the world and it really has been a life saver this past crazy 18 months - music just seems to do that doesn't it!! Thanks again for your encouraging vlogs - I learn so much from you & you make me want to go out & buy a pretty new tea cup!! Thank you for making me smile!! 0:)

Fear Lydia,
Two days in a row with new videos! I just love them, and you. I listened today while I changed bed linens and tidied the kitchen.
I did get the vacation joke- laughed out loud! oh for some levity in these crazy days. One way I have "coped" is by reading good and uplifting books. I am on my second read through of The Jane Austen Diet and checked out an Anne of Green Gables book from our library over the weekend. This is far along in the series when she has 5 children and lives at Ingleside with her beloved Gilbert. Delightful.Thank you for your lovely presence.
Your friend,
Marianne

Dear Lydia,
I want to thank you so much for your blog posts and HRadio broadcasts. They help me to stay focused on what is truly important in life.

Today is a very sad day as it marks the day when 4 years ago we tragically lost our dear and only son at age 32.

With the Lord's help and grace, yesterday and today I was able to clean a couple of the walls, corners, and floor areas in the kitchen and also wipe the outside of the fridge. Although the big hurdle for me was to just get started, once I did, it was so relieving. To get those tasks accomplished brings much satisfaction, and gives me the desire to keep pressing on with the (much-needed!) cleaning -knowing the effort and results are worth it.

Thank you again for your encouragement and ideas.❤️

With love in Christ,
Lynnea

Thank you for this lovely, pleasant talk. I listened while I made supper (Taco Tuesday) and also while I folded two loads of laundry and put them away.

I wanted to tell you that after hearing you reading from Beautiful Girlhood over the past few weeks, I ordered a copy for myself and I've started reading it with my 10 year old daughter. It's such a good, helpful book. Thank you for introducing me to it.

I loved the poem from Ideals Magazine - I know some people would say Ideals is overly sentimental, but I love the poems it features. I have a small collection of these magazines which I enjoy taking out from time to time.
