Clothes at Home #6 and Video

I took this photo for you to enjoy the evening view from The Manse. It is not enhanced; this is exactly what it looks like in the evening.

I hope your are contented in your present circumstances.

If you are viewing this blog for the first time, the clothing might seem unusual to you. I am home full time and want to wear colors and prints that would not normally be worn in the workplace or in public, and clothes that make me feel happy while engaging in responsibilities of running a home.

This was sewn from cotton fabric purchased at Walmart.
I usually picture the apron I wear with the dress, and will try to remember to include that in future pictures.

Today I tried another Republic of Tea flavor.

Here is the etiquette lady  I mentioned:

Please enjoy the continued talk on the importance of dressing in an inspirational way for the home. I hope you get a lot of things accomplished while you listen.

That sunset pic is absolutely stunning! Wow. And I think your floral prints are so beautifully feminine. I especially like the detail at the neckline that you put on your dresses—it’s piping I think? Makes it look custom and finished.

Yes it is piping . It picks up one of the colors in the print and gives the dress a finished look and keeps the neckline from getting worn and thin but also gives the dress years of quality wear. I have thought of doing a pictorial step by step instruction about it so people can make their own and how to apply it. Someday when I get organized.....

What a beautiful dress! I've not sewn any clothes for awhile. I have a soft pink sheet that I've considered making into a nightgown. I apologize. I've not been around in awhile. I hope to visit often.
