Dress Elegantly at Home, Make the House an Elegant Destination, Feed on the Word, Not on the News

Father, hear the prayer we offer:
Not for ease that prayer shall be,
But for strength that we may ever
Live our lives courageously.

I didn't know you were in Oregon! Me too. You are a breath of fresh air and love your rebellious spirit. I loved hearing you taunting the tea trolls!😂

Please continue to be a light in the midst of darkness.

People tend to underestimate me and that makes it fun.

Mrs. Sherman, this may be my favorite video yet! I am so grateful for your pretty videos.

I love all the pink, and the readings!
They aren't too political for me. I look forward to these every day.

Yesterday we made the pretty sheet tents outside that you made awhile back.
Then we made a make shift table, used a pink and green quilt for a tablecloth. We had a lovely meal last evening.

I share this because I want to express your videos are helping me to not be overcome with fear. The kind that disables you, when I think of needing to be the light in my home.

God bless you and your readers

I love that--"keep the sunshine on in your home!" Thank you for another enjoyable episode of Homemaker Radio. <3

Dearest Lydia,

When you speak of letting the sunshine into your home, that is precisely what happens each time I visit your blog and listen to your videos. You greet us with your beautiful smile, lovely apparel and home, and words of hope, truth, and encouragement!!!

You are a true daughter of liberty proclaiming freedom to its inhabitants throughout our great country. You are not being political; you are reviving the hearts of fearful homemakers by speaking the truth. I am sending grateful hugs and love to you today. I can’t wait for your next visit.

Blessings,
Holly

I apologize for being a bit behind in your talks, Lydia - today I listened to this talk although it is 9 days old. I've been taking your advice seriously about just doing one small "extra" thing each day that can be easily managed. Yesterday I cleaned out one kitchen cupboard, and today while I listened to your talk I cleaned out a box of odds and ends that's been sitting in the corner of the kitchen for a while. It was the contents of my old "junk drawer" - and you wouldn't believe the interesting things I found in there! Including a collection of sayings I cut out of a calendar - I put one on front of the fridge which says "Your life is what your thoughts make of it." (Marcus Aurelius)

I must say, this talk was particularly engaging and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I loved the poem "Against Quarreling and Fighting" because it brought back memories of homeschooling when my children we a little younger. And I agree with everything you said in the area of politics. I have just been learning recently about the Deep State and I sincerely hope it's true that your president is currently rooting out the corruption in the upper levels of government. If he is successful I'm sure it will be a benefit for all the countries of the world. I'm sure you have seen already the new documentary on Youtube called Out of the Shadows? It contains some disturbing material but it's very eye opening.

Tomorrow is Sunday, and ever since all this fear-mongering nonsense started in the media I've been avoiding all media and news on Sundays to rest my mind. If the weather is nice I hope to spend time time in the garden, and maybe I will be able to cut some tulips for the table if they have bloomed. And I will exercise my freedom by going for a nice long walk. I also made a resolution to drink tea more often on Sundays! Can't go wrong with that, right?
