Interesting Cup

I was given this interesting cup. I wondered why the giver kept watching me as she poured the tea!

There was no indication of its inner shape when I first saw it.
Similar cups can be found at these sites and in gift shops.

This cup is beautiful and so unique, I have never saw one like it before. It would be an unexpected gift to anyone who recieved it. You are very fortunate to have it and the giver must really care for you. Very thoughtful. I am so glad that you shared such a wonderful surprise.

Oh! Thank you for sharing this! I saw this post awhile back and tried to comment, but they were blocked. I am so happy they are enabled again.
My Gramma saved teacups, having been enraptured by them, and divided them to each granddaughter when she passed away. My Grampa still holds mine for me (all the girls, actually), which is good.
I know my Gramma would have been so tickled to see that cup! Seing it brought a tear to my eye.
I am surely going to have to look for some of those.
