That was brilliant!!! So much prettier than the gift boxes at stores that run well over $3 each!

What's also very cool about this is that you can make one anytime and show some unplanned and unexpected generosity. I can see making one the day you run out of butter, making some cookies, and taking them to a friend just because. I love it!!!

This is a lovely craft. It's very easy to follow. I may work on something similar with my children. Thanks for the viseo.

I will be adding one more: the largest gift bag made from a cereal box.

Thank you so much...this is such a lovely gift and timely since Mother's Day is only a short while away- I think that this would be very feminine as a Mother's Day wrapping.

Thank you!

Adorable - I knew there was a reason I saved that tea box!

This is a wonderful idea! I recently bought some butter in the 8 oz. packages (2 cubes) because it was on sale and so it is already the perfect size! I am looking forward to trying this out! Yours looks so pretty!

For any Bumphrey fans out there, my daughter has updated her blog and posted a current story about these strange cousins, at www.thepleasanttimes.blogspot.com
I have been quite busy at home but hope to post again soon.

I loved this idea. My youngest daughter is turning six and we made a couple of these to give with party favors for her friends. Thanks, Rebekah

Wallpaper would work nicely, too and maybe wouldn't do the wrinkling so much as thinner papers. I always seem to have odd shaped wall paper left overs.

I like the textured bottom that you have on the Cheerios box. I think you must have taken that from the pretty placemat? I have textured wallpapers that might be pretty to use that way, too.

As always, thanks for the ideas!
