When you hear me say "Mary McFadden" please translate that to "Mary Quant". It was Mary Quant who invented the mini skirt. My apologies to Mary McFadden.
Hello. I'm a long time reader, but I don't think I've ever commented. I loved your video, and especially the comments on Laura Ashley dresses. I miss those so much. They were gorgeous. I look forward to hearing more from you, especially as pertaining to an "empty nester" keeper at home, like me. Thank you.
Thank you so much for these videos I am watching each one and getting some housework done. Sometimes I knit and watch, the video grade doesn't bother me because the content is worth it. We are spoiled with our high definition tv's I think. Bless you for encouraging homemakers it can be lonely at times and we need to hear another homemakers voice cheering us on in our good work.
Great comments; thank you! Im Using my phone so I have the letter “n” . I was not able to subscribe to the Cooks country or Cooks illustrated emails because my email address has an “n” but I plan to start getting it again in my inbox.
Being negative may be something we picked up in our childhood maybe, but it can be overcome by substituting a “can-do” or possibility thought.
I almost deleted this video because of a couple of errors but when we visit with friends we can’t delete what we say😊
I'm enjoying listening to the videos very much and send them to my grown daughters, they too are getting a kick out of Mrs. Sherman. : ) It is very nice to have a daily encouragement. I do hope you will continue!
I also wanted to add, I also do not understand the tight 'wiggle' type dresses I see on the news, weather reports etc. They look to be two sizes too small! And you are so correct, the male commentators and reporters are wearing beautiful suits. What in the world? I just don't understand. When I was a little girl, the ladies on television wore beautiful outfits and were provided by a local boutique who the network would give credit to at the end of the newscast.
Hello, Mrs. Sherman! While we visited today I washed and prepared blueberries to freeze and dehydrate. On Monday, I exercised and cleaned my bedroom and hallway. Last week, I was able to complete several chores as I was catching up with some videos that I had missed. I usually listen via my cell phone and so I don't often leave comments. The keyboard is so small that it is very difficult. I usually prefer to read blogs, but I am truly enjoying hearing your voice and getting some work done at the same time. It really does seem like an encouraging visit! Thank you so much for doing these videos. I hope you will continue even after the computer switch is complete!
Thank you so much for your blog and videos. I’m enjoying listening to your videos as i wash my dishes. I was wondering if you could address some coping strategies on how to stay positive and encouraged when you live in a house full of negative people? How do you keep yourself from becoming negative when you can’t get away from the people you live with?
I'm very much enjoying your encouragement videos. It's wonderful to hear from a dear Christian woman while doing quiet work around the house....makes a huge difference. Thanks!

Thank you. I do plan on addressing this!
As I’m elderly the fuzziness of the picture suits me fine. It smooths all those wrinkles and blends in the extra pounds 😊
Your videos are so lovely. I think I will miss them when you stop posting them (when new fancy computer arrives).

Yes glad you see what I do! Yes I recall they wore suits created for them plus the ad came up after the show was over which showed who made the suit.
The computer I got is used & repaired, re-made, etc. & I hope to get some good use from it. I have to wait for that 8 year old to set it up .
Hope to post a video tommorrow or later today.

I hope the computer works well. It is a repaired model.
re worked or some such
I agree a mother who screams makes it hard to love work, love life, or have a happy outlook.
