Homemaker Support: Listen While You Work - Teacup technique, Dignity in Dress, Work to Feel Uplifted, Antecedents

Hello Ladies,

I'm so grateful for your visits here. Your comments give me good material to talk about!

If you need some company while you work, this video lasts an hour. You can get the kitchen cleaned, the laundry folded and two bedrooms in order!

Thank you for these videos, I'm really enjoying listening to them while I work - I find them very informative and quite relaxing! Better than listening to the radio and definitely helps me motivated to finish my chores. My main problem is getting started ... I find I get distracted quite easily and then I find I've started a couple of different jobs and not finished any!

.... just finished listening to the video, and I wanted to add how much I enjoy seeing your home and the beautiful tea cups you use. I have recently been watching a couple of YouTube channels which advocate complete minimalism - to the point of getting rid of all clutter and ornaments - I can't imagine myself living like that! I agree with you, that it really makes our homes special to have some of our favourite belongings on display - I too have a fondness for Victorian style and decor and it really does cheer me up on a grey day to see aspects of your welcoming home!

I enjoyed today's video Thank you for teaching us how to keep our kids healthy and warm. I was also wondering when if I will ever get curtains and decorations.

thank you for the wonderful videos. I folded my washing and tidied some paperwork. It is nice to have some friendly company while doing some jobs especially when you are feeling a little unmotivated. You are very encouraging.

I enjoyed this sweet video. In my area there are very few ladies who teach or encourage these things. The other day I listened half way as I went around my morning routine but today I rested my eyes laying down for an afternoon nap as I listened, felt uplifted and thought and prayed that the Lord would show me the next steps to declutter my future sewing room.

Please keep up the sweet videos, they bring such joy and encouragement. I am very happy when I see a new one up for me to watch!

Love your dress, you do look cute in it. *big smle* I have a skirt I made with very similar colors and print in rayon. I think the jewel tones on the mustard color works for all of us with a fair complexion who also want to wear the new 'mustard' color. : )

I'll be sure to let my mom hear this talk too. So nice to hear your thoughts, it's like attending a nice ladies meeting. ~Amelia

I do appreciate your vlogs. I am an older woman, but enjoy the companionship of another like-minded woman as it is so encouraging. During this episode, I was able to bake a cake for some guests this evening (we are having a campfire) and get a "bridal veil" hair piece mostly finished for my niece to wear to her shower.

I listened to the two last videos today and accomplished a lot on my list. I even got out a real tea cup and made a nice cup of tea. I cleaned the bathroom and did some mending and various other things. Thank you for the inspiration. And yes, you are cute!

I listened to this while I did some sewing last night after my children were in bed. It was a wonderful way to end the day! I can't recall if it was on this video or another, but you mentioned a nutritionist who talked about weight loss/food (instead of focusing on exercise) and I wonder if you could post the link?

The problem with listening while I worked is that I frequently thought of things I wanted to remark on later and now I've forgotten what they were!! Next time I'll have to jot down notes. :) But in any case, I really enjoy your videos and find them so helpful and encouraging. Thank you!
