Slideshow 1

While going through old pictures and cleaning out some of my files, I gathered some  photographs from a couple of years ago, of my home,  and thought you would enjoy this slideshow. I hope to have another one showing the updated look around house and garden.

This is put together to resemble the time when I had the "Inn at Calm Village." View it on your enlarged version for enhanced reality.

Slideshow by one of my technicians, Mrs. Humphrey of The Pleasant Times

Lydia, this is how I remembered it all these years!!! So many seasons of beauty you created a fresh look and a peaceful place to rest. Mrs. Humphrey 😉 did a great job putting this slideshow together! I really love the last picture. Each and everyone of these pictures were so edifying!
Hugs to you both.~💖~L

What a lovely home you have made for your husband and family! You're right. It's cottagecore. I think of it as combining all the things we've loved from all the eras of our lives and the past.

Blessings from Harvest Lane Cottage,
Laura Lane

P.S. My husband told me a statistic recently that two million ladies have not gone back to work after the pandemic in the United States.

Thank you for the slideshow. It´s so inspiring! There are many sites out there showing house tours where all a humble housewife gets is the impression of being poor, inadequate or old-fashioned because she´ll never be able to own such a house / furniture / garden. I recently saw one of those million-dollar houses whose dressing room was bigger than my dear, tiny living-room!

However, your rooms are so lovely, so full of fresh and delicate ideas we can all implement, so real and affordable, so beautiful and creative that make me think of new, sweet ways of improving our home and little patio. The music used was also very inspirational. Thanks again. I hope it won´t be the last tour of your pretty manse and surroundings that we see!
