This is so inspiring! I love everything - the blue & white colours and the candle. I could almost feel the steam rising out of the pot!

Best regards,
Karen

That was really nice. I didn't know to use cold water when making tea. I like the cornflower blue too.

Another lovely video. May I say that I have always heard that it will give the tea an even better flavor if you pour the water in the teapot first and then add the tea bag? With some teas, pouring the water on top of them can release a bitter taste.

I love that color blue and the milk glass is perfect with it.

I am British and was impressed! I took a picture of my afternoon tea yesterday - it is on my blog - I have to say yours looks more British than mine! There is something so calming and sophisticated about afternoon tea.

We are enjoying our newly discovered technical hobby, making videos and slides. Who knows, maybe we will be on U tube one day ;-). In the meantime, for you that are having problems getting it to play, we are working on figuring out how to get it to play as soon as the page comes up for you, without clicking it on. We are finding out different ways to make these, and you will notice that each one has a different style and format. My next two ideas are: how to clean up a really impossible mess, and two ways of saying something. However this last video took us such a long time to learn, it may be some time before I can get another one up. We are trying all the techniques available to us, plus a huge work load at home.

Dear Lady Lydia,
A lovely slide show! I just posted on tea yesterday on my blog as well and how much I have been enjoying my tea cups since your "My Favorite tea cup" post. Such lovely treasures should be used and enjoyed!

Please tell Lillibeth that I really enjoyed her post on the sewing room redo. Excellent organization and so inspiring! Thank you for visiting my blog and thank you for the inspiring work that you are doing here. Even though I have been a homemaker for many years, it is such an encouragement!

Blessings,

Sharon

The slide show has been changed to autoplay. Each picture is up for about ten seconds, so keep watching and it should work!

Very nice table setting! May I suggest the one thing I find indispensable in making tea? A nice thick tea cosy! It keeps the tea good and hot!

Claire, you are right! We used one in a tea room that was made of wool blanket material and it was excellent!

Mrs V said: "With some teas, pouring the water on top of them can release a bitter taste" I just heard this happens also if the water is too hot. It should be left too coll down a bit after boiling. (What a coincidence, there was a discussion on tea this morning on my tv!)

Sweet videos, lady Lydia! Thank you! I think a beautiful setting can make a very simple meal very pleasant. You have so beautiful dishes... I have such a small kitchen at the moment, that I'd better not buy extra dishes. Even if I fond a good deal, I wouldn't have anywhere to store them!

Have a nice week!
