An announcement: I do not know how commentors on this blog are registered, but I have had the anonymous feature in place for those of you who had diffuculty posting. It has brought a lot of advertizing spam to my inbox, and I also have to manually reject it as a comment, which takes a lot of time. Therefore I have changed the settings to "registered users." There was a choice between registered users and Google users, but not both. Please let me know if you are not able to comment.
I am hoping my next sewing project will be in yellow. My kitchen and several other rooms really went into disarray while I was sewing, so during my crises cleanup today my mind will be full of fabric and designs and ideas for the next sewing session.

It seems that I am able to post a comment using my Google account, as I always did in the past. I look forward to seeing your next sewing project, and even the mess of your sewing area, if you'd be willing to share! I get discouraged with sewing easily and part of it is all the mess it creates - I don't know how to manage it - and where to lay out all my supplies when I am working. I don't have a table just for this purpose. Practical tips in this area would always be appreciated!

I watched a program on Netflix that I thought your readers would really enjoy. It is a series from 2015 called "The Eccentrics". In episode 8 there is a couple that actually live every day as though it is the Victorian era. It is their lifestyle and a very fun to watch program.

Good morning! I love your posts! Sewing seems to come so easily to you, it has always been a struggle for me! I remember my dad finishing a school Home Ec sewing project for me back in the 70's because I was having so much trouble understanding the pattern. I am better at it now, but it's still not easy. You make it seem almost effortless 😊

Mrs. o . I like the artistry of cosmetics and have recently tinkered with makeup made from kitchen ingredients! Looking forward to seeing your yellow dress project. I love yellow as it is such a cheery color and lifts the spirit on gloomy days.
However it tends to wash me out if I wear it.
I really enjoy your posts about sewing and grafting pieces from different patterns.
Maybe you have heard of a magazine by the name of "Altured Couture", where by different garment pieces are mixed and matched to create something new and different.
Sometimes the dresses or jackets have bits of lace or embroidered inserts, which gives a different look to the garment and makes it more feminine.
