Sunrise from the Manse
Please enjoy today's talk while you go about your responsibilities at home.
This is the cape I wore today, and you can see the original post I made
featuring all the capes, here.

Dear Lydia,
The blessings of Homemaker Radio today gave me a lot of food for thought. When you talked about overcoming daunting tasks, my mind went to the attic and basement. I want to tackle those areas so I can rediscover and use items I have forgotten all about. You know the saying, “ Out of sight , out of mind.” I actually own a storage tote with that logo printed on it!😏
I appreciated the idea of continuing hospitality. After all, the Lord wants us to obey Him with this command. And, His commands are not burdensome; they will benefit us as well as others. I have 2 elderly neighbors(widows) that would love the idea of a tea party in a box.
It was almost too good to be true that you would broadcast another video so soon. I am in homemaker heaven.😊Thanks for another lovely tour as well. In my opinion, I enjoy your home tours better than the princess home tours. I took one of your ideas and filled a toy truck with ornaments to match my decor yesterday, and it didn’t cost a cent.
Blessings, Holly
P.S. Like you, I have been noticing the most majestic sunrises and sunsets in my little neck of the woods. A reminder from the Lord to Keep looking up!!
I listened to this talk while I did a variety of odd jobs in the kitchen. I enjoyed it, especially the Edward Guest poems - I don't think I've heard those ones before. :)
My grandmother gave me this same pattern before she passed on. I’ve not used it yet because I thought it had to be made of velvet and the price is very high. However seeing you’ve made it of fleece, I’m encouraged to make one. Yours looks very pretty on you.
Janet Westrup.
Janet it is the very thin cheap fleece from Walmart. I've used the fleece from the fabric store and the garment was far too heavy, way to hot to wear, difficult to cut and sew. I have used other fabrics too, always lightweight, thin.
I listened this morning while getting presentable. I must go out today for supplies. Thank you for getting me started today.
