Today I suggested some natural, age-old, time-proven anti-anxiety remedies:
Look for anti-anxiety exercises and try them
Put something in order, sort our something, do something tedious while listening.
The practice of courtesy prevents friction and anxiety.
I read from the 1948 manners book: The Standard Book of Ettiquette by Lillian Watson.
Today I broadcast in my kitchen which I have embellished with fabric and things from my sewing supplies.

Hi Lydia,
Your pictures are a lovely treat, thank you for sharing! I need to do this in my kitchen too, something Fallish and upbeat.
Take care,
Rose
Thank you.
Hello Lydia. What a lovely kitchen and home you have!
I have a question how to keep focussed on homemaking duties when the news where I live is a vaccine passport- no going to restaurants etc without it. I feel like my country( Canada ) is taking away my freedoms😥. How can I cope with such terrible news 😥.
I keep returning to your broadcasts because they give me validation in the life t have chosen. The Lord bless you. Love. Christal
I love the color theme of your kitchen! So crisp and fresh looking. You even sounded like you enjoyed being in there! Having lived hither and yon, I always have felt temporary in our homes. This kept me from creating the atmosphere that really refreshed my own heart. I’ve reformed and am learning after too many years that I must live in a home while I’m there and not live like a passer-through.
Thank you for sharing your kitchen! I like the black and white checks!
Comfortable and so inspiring.
But most of all, thank you for keeping me calm and focused on what it important.
I have started doing workouts on top of preparing for my day. With all this new energy, we have stared inviting couples and families over for dinner!
You are a HUGE inspiration!
Peace, Christine ♥
Christine, that’s one side effect of even the most gentle excercise.
Dear Lydia,
Your kitchen is as lovely as the rest of your home corners. If we are queens and our homes are our kingdoms to bless and beautify, our kitchens are like the throne hall, from where life and delicious food flow. If the table in my little kitchen could speak, it would talk about family dinners, surprise desserts, children making homework or playing board games on it and me in the quiet hours of the morning with my coffee and my agenda, planning the day or the week.
When I listened to you referring to your 10 minute-walking, I understood you usually go walking in your lovely outfit, even with your pearls, like in your last video. I´d like to know what you think of the walking clothes. Most of them (what you can find in shops) are awful, I know, but do you think Elizabeth Bennet would buy a pair of really comfortable walking shoes today? Unfortunately, although there are very comfortable ones, I can´t imagine wearing them with a flowing, lady dress. I´m interested in your opinion.
Dear Lydia
Who needs excercises when you have your comforting voice and guidance...? I must confess that your kitchen is making me want to redo mine; it is Victoria Magazine worthy (yours of course :)). The books you choose to read from are a completely new world opening up to me and I am loving it.
If I may ask, where did you find that beautiful, cosy lantarn in the background?
Thank you very much for your continuous inspiration.
Autumn greetings from Belgium.

I have super comfy sandals for walking...they are made for walking, very cushy. But I don't know the name! I wish I had written it down. I got them at Nordstrom rack for under $100. Mephisto is another comfy walking sandal but $$$. However they last 3 years so to me it's worth it. It's a terrible name, but I just say I'm walking all over the devil. I'm sure there are other brands just know they are often expensive. However, going with an expensive brand actually cured me of many back and hip pains, so the $300 was worth it. I just wear half the year, for 3 yrs and that makes it more cost effective in the long run.
Thanks for the recipe! I love your sense of humor, too! Very interesting, and got a lot done... groceries put away, salad made, rested 10 min, then began to clean out the linen cupboard.
Hello Lydia,
This afternoon I was able to listen to the first half of HRadio "Courtesy in the Home" while finishing a sewing project I had started a couple of weeks ago.
It was nice to see your kitchen and the nice fabric touches. Sewing kitchen curtains is on my "to-do" list...I think it will feel really good to change out the old ones.
I plan on listening to the other half soon but just wanted to share that I so enjoyed your sense of humor and lightheartedness during your talk!
Thank you again for more of HRadio home education! 😊

What a lovely kitchen. I enjoy your talks while I am folding mountains of blessed laundry for the family. Thank you so much for your time.
There is only 2 of us, too. So I do half a recipe, save us just a few and share the rest 😊
