Listen While You Enjoy Your Home

Hello Dear Ones,
I'm getting ready to go outside to walk down this pasture.

Today in the broadcast I talked briefly about the artist, Edmund Blair Leighton. Here are a few of his paintings:

Painting: Seclusion, by Edmund Blair Leighton
Waiting, by Edmund Blair Leighton

When you view his paintings, which you can find on Pinterest and other places, you might see some lovely structures in the backgrounds. Besides painting (art) he had also studied architecture.

In the broadcast I talked about the dress I wore:

Gooseberry Patch has a collection of old church supper recipes which I enjoyed reading.

Please enjoy your time at home while you listen today:

I so enjoy your videos and your blogs Lydia. I also enjoy Victoria Magazine and some of the sister magazines such as Tea Time magazine. You’re right they are all well written, the photography, articles and recipes are wonderful and inspiring.
Thank you for reading to us from the Jane Austin books. Until now I had never heard of these publications so enjoy them very much.
Most of all thank you for homeschooling us. I never dreamt that schooling could be so wonderful. I was public schooled which left a lot to be desired! Looking forward to your next lessons.

I save watching your videos when I can rest and like to listen to your video with a cup of tea and a cookie, that is my favorite rest part of the day. Keep up the good work Lydia. You have no idea how much good your videos do and how much they mean to us.

Dear lady Lydia,

I feel honored to be homeschooled by you. In a world where godliness and virtue are nowhere to be found and any fool finds a social media from where spreading foolishness, impurity and the rudest irreverence, it is a real privilege, comparable to finding a treasure, finding a Christian woman who devotes herself to do what the Word of God tells her to do, that is, teaching younger women the good things, the things that matter in the light of eternity.

I am very thankful because I´m not so wise that I don´t need any teaching or inspiration for my daily life. And I know you´ll be abundantly rewarded by the Lord for your good work, which influences much beyond your imaginations. I enclose you an image I found on Facebook. I´ve seen it in several different places around there in the last few months, which is the proof that your words reach much farther than you may think.

God bless you.

Rachel

P.S. I absolutely love the poems. I´ve written the first one beautifully and put it where I can see it often.

Dear Lydia,

Thank you for coming back so soon. I was consumed with various household tasks while listening, but homemaker radio helped me get through my chores a whole lot easier.😊While you homeschooled us today, I realized you used words that we don’t ordinarily speak. Thus, I find you are expanding my vocabulary, too!! Thank you, Lydia, your videos are a treasure and a blessing.

❤️Holly

I can’t remember the words but I avoid listening to my own speeches because the mistakes embarrass me— still I can’t take time to edit.
