You always look so lovely, but today you looked especially pretty! I have ordered Up From Slavery and cannot wait to read it. I loved seeing your Bible at the end, seems like a nice size. Thank you for Homemaker’s Radio, I often listen at my desk as I work from home. 🌸

It is my goal to have some written posts soon but the videos are easier and faster for me.

Hello Lydia, I am so glad to see you are well. Thank you for the video. I really enjoyed it. My husband saw me carrying around my laptop to listen so we got out my little iPod my girls gave me about 10 years ago and got it set up to play youtube. I was able to listen and "we" went for a walk & some exercise, laundry, a bit of kitchen clean up. I really enjoyed your part on exercise. I watched the video she has, really liked that. Will have to work up to her routine. Wishing you God's peace, Dee

Dee I like hearing from you, detailing your activities. God idea to take it with you on a walk. It’s great these devices can pick up whatever we want to listen to.

I appreciated today’s talk about the many ways we can capitalize on our present day challenges. I really thrive being at home; taking walks in our woods, working on projects, canning the bounty God has blessed me with, and prioritizing time in the Word and in prayer. I do believe, by God’s grace, I will come out of this current situation better and have something to show for it. Thank you for the encouragement in this area. Also, being a living sacrifice keeps us from having a martyr complex... So true! We, like Paul, can learn contentment in whatever state we are in because he says we can do ALL things through Christ that strengthens us.

Thank you once again for an uplifting message today!

Blessings,
Holly

Thank you so much for this positive and encouraging message, and for keeping me company while I did a little reorganizing in the kitchen and prepared our evening meal. Work is so much more pleasant while listening to your talks!

I just want to thank you for these videos. I stumbled across an older one on youtube, as I was trying to find other homemakers. I am currently struggling with I suppose Stay at home mum depression. Listening to you tonight, as I did some of my cross stitching, was so soothing. I know I'll listen to you as I go about my jobs, and I look forward to picking up wisdom for looking after my home, kids and husband Thank you! God Bless xx

You often speak of adding spots of beaut. For years I have purchased the artist John Sloan's yeaarly calendar. I take them apart at the end of the year and slide each month's pictures into a clear recipe holder to enjoy every day.
Have you looked at the This Victorian Life site and blog?

Thank you for your encouraging podcasts especially at this time.

I have not seen the sites or books you mentioned here but I shall go and look soon! I love your idea for using calendar pics and I plan to read something written by Hohn Sloane in a video soon.

Good Evening Mrs. Sherman, Thank-you for the video. I am enjoying them from my home in NE IA. You have a soothing voice and lovely appearance. I especially like how you style your long hair. I am growing mine long, it is just to the top of my shoulders. Do you have any hair advice? I will be looking forward to more videos.
