I absolutely adore your talks. I have been looking for something like what you offer for ages, and I am so pleased to have found you. Thank you for the time and effort you apply!

Thank you. If I can get my house running more smoothly and caught up with more, my aim is to post more often.

Thank you for your lovely video today. I enjoyed learning about Emperor Norton while cleaning the kitchen and juicing lemons. Our citrus trees are heavy with fruit-a little late this year-so we are busy picking and juicing. It is so enjoyable to listen to something new and uplifting. I certainly do appreciate it.

Thank you for this talk! I listened while I made a large batch of chocolate cupcakes with heart shaped sprinkles - just because. The information about Emperor Norton was so interesting - I'd never heard of him before. I enjoy it so much when you teach us new things. I also enjoyed it when you read to us from Up From Slavery - I'd never heard of Booker T Washington before, either, but I ordered the book and plan to start reading it soon.

I also really liked what you said about declaring your independence from volatile, controlling people. Next time I am faced with a situation like that, I will hear your voice in my head saying "Declare your independence!" lol.

I so enjoyed hearing about Emperor Norton. What a lovable character.

Was most interested in your “Teach Me Something”class and would like to attend or start a class like that in my area. So many women in our neighborhood are still so fearful about socializing. How would one go about starting a group?

It should not be difficult if it is a one-time event with one or two other people.

I surprised I've never heard of Emperor Norton! Very interesting. Did you ever speak more about Jfrsn Davis? I'm listening backwards in time and I don't recall you mentioning him, but I could be wrong. Very informative about people's characters not being developed and how they try to manipulate. Enjoyed hearing about your Teach Me classes!

I will do Jeff Davis in a future video.

Dear Lady Lydia,
I had an odd afternoon here. I overheard some media about the “health situation” and I felt unsettled and my mind was whirling a bit. Thankfully I had my list and went back to it and I turned on Homemakers Radio. I drifted into my work again folding and sorting socks. When you mentioned how hard it would be for a group or your family to work together in the laundry room I was actually in the laundry room and I imagined all of us in this tiny room and I just burst out laughing! I felt so much better and I enjoyed the rest of the lesson today. What a wonderful idea to keep the electric tea kettle by your bedside. I especially love your tea cup today. It’s just so unique and special. I agree it is very important for ladies to dress in a feminine and modest manner. Not over the top as to attract attention, but sweetly. I did sit down with a glass of water and my notebook during the people section. I declare my self “independent” from the media! You are a blessing and a joy. Thank you
Lauren
