Thanks for sharing Lydia, lots of good book and magazine ideas. One thing you said really perked my ears up and rang true especially of late. I think we women who stay home are more sensitive to online correspondence, we do take it more seriously when someone drops off. I usually just give it to the Lord and know that there must be a reason for it but yes, we are more sensitive to it. It's a good time for me to just get with God though when things of that nature happen, but you have definitely picked up on something most people don't pick up on, or care about, it seems.

The Lord is good, He is faithful and it's so beautiful to me that the quiet times are special times to fellowship with the Father and can be cherished.

I appreciate your vlogs, please don't forget us at Rumble. God bless and be with you.

Thank you Lydia, as always, for sharing your wisdom with us. I listened to this talk while I did some work for my Etsy shop. I was blessed recently with a large order going to Paris, France, and I had fun with wrapping it up prettily with a bow before placing it in the shipping box.

I agree with you that having a dining room adds a touch of dignity to a home. In our old farmhouse, there were originally two small rooms at the front of the house - a parlour, and a dining room. The wall was taken down and now we have a (rather small) living room and a school room. Although I love homeschooling so much, some day when I'm not doing that any longer, I look forward to returning that room to its original purpose, and having a real dining room where I could entertain guests. Right now it's packed to the brim with books, papers and art supplies!

I love what you said about having or using a Dining Room, instead of just eating!
We expanded our dining room to fit our growing extended family. It was such a joy to have everyone sitting around the dining table when it was completed. I had tears of joy.

Dear Lydia,

I really enjoyed this talk from the lovely, well- kept manse. You touched on the subject of beauty in our homes and how it can be a reflection of us and the Lord to whom we serve. I seek to surround myself with others that share my passion and desire to enrich beauty in the home. Hence the reason I love listening to your broadcasts, Lydia.😊

God’s blessings,
❤️Holly

I learned from Myka Meier that the older teacups had smaller handles because we are supposed to "pinch" our thumb and forefinger through to hold and drink. But Americans are so used to coffee cups and larger handles that companies made the handles bigger to get us to drink more tea.

I loved the book Christy. We just researched the tv series, as well. So uplifting! Thanks for all the good advice!

I just reread this comment...I wrote re-watched, not researched! S/t auto correct is a big pain.

Dear Lydia,
You look lovely today. The fruits of the spirit is so important. I’m going to list them in my notebook. I hung things in the closet and put together some old clothes to be donated. Thank you for finding the time to talk to us despite having a busy day yourself!
With love
Lauren
