Greatness in Enjoying Home

In this broadcast I refer to a number of things that might be helpful at home.

-Being orderly can help detox the mind.
-Greatness is enjoying the home, and being happy with life, appreciating your country, enjoying your interests, finding purpose in work, being happy with things like having meals, comfortable sleep, and walking in fresh air.

Please enjoy any of those things while you listen today:

Today's teacup is an antique with the wild rose by Royal Adderly

I made a quick crayon drawing on a torn piece of brown paper for the brown paper/paper bag challenge today, getting an idea from old postcard art (see end of post).

Morning walks around The Manse are finished too quickly. Since I've been reading
moments outside and more deliberate and frequent.

Below: a sample of old fashioned postcard art, which I described in the broadcast today:

Please breath the air, walk around, laugh at something, sing something, read, write, create, and do your best to make the home the best place to be.

Dear Lydia,
Thank you again for your videos. Like for you, visiting with you is my connection to the world lately. Our children live in states VERY far away , along with those precious grandchildren , and because of 'the current state of affairs" and our elderly years my husband and I choose to mostly stay home. And our home does happen to be our favorite p[lace to be! I do enjoy your chats so much and check every day to see if there might be a new one. If there isn't I just listen to a previous one.
I do have The Jane Austen Diet and have read it a couple of times myself, but I particularly enjoy your reading aloud while i do morning chores. You are a delight. Your feminine dresses are also refreshing in this world of tight ugly clothing. I am beginning to learn to live in my home like it is in my favorite time period as you suggest. What fun! Your friend in Alabama
