Today I read again from Winsome Womanhood (c. 1900), and a few other things.
I thought you might like to see the high-summer harvest season view of The Manse today. It is rather like a desert but we are enjoying whatever atmosphere the weather brings us.
Please enjoy home while you listen today:

So sweet Ms. Lydia, the peach tea sounds delicious, I had my house work complete so I was able to enjoy listening to you while I did some cross stitch. I enjoy your videos so much, love hearing about different teas and teatime🤗🙏🌸🌺🌼 Have a beautiful blessed week ahead 🌸🌺🐦🦋
Dear Lydia, I have not been keeping up with your videos of late because my little Amazon tablet I was watching them on was broken, and I had no other way of listening in the kitchen. Today my new tablet arrived, so I am able to listen again. I am picking up where I left off.
I listened to this talk while I made a pot of turkey stew and dumplings, to use the remains of the turkey from our Thanksgiving dinner. I was feeling tired and couldn't quite remember how to make it, but you must have given me moral support because the meal turned out perfectly, which was good because we had a couple of last-minute guests at the table. Actually, I burned the stew on the bottom, but as I quickly transferred it to another pot just as it was starting to burn, it tasted fine and nobody knew. ;)
Thank you for a beautiful broadcast today!
I love listening to your videos. I would love to read the books you mentioned for my daughters and myself. Do you have a book list?
