Homemaking Challenge #2

Greetings Everyone,

Today I am sharing Challenge 2, and talking about something in the voters guide. It is a short talk but you might be able to get one thing done in your home while listening.

In the talk today I referred to paper bags and the numerous creative things you can do with them.
Here is an idea from Pinterest. You can look for paper bag crafts on Pinterest and find out more about this flower.

Homemaking Challenge #2:

Preparation: Skin care
Work: Put something in order in the home I have been avoiding
Create: Something from ordinary materials.

Mrs. Sherman, I just want you to know that even though I don’t always get around to commenting I am thrilled by every single video you post. I struggle with anxiety attacks at night and your videos are so soothing and wholesome and have no ads so I can fall asleep to you talking and you’re so interesting to listen to. When I get up after my time with Jesus praying and reading I listen to your videos for my house work. I love to go back and re listen to videos and every time you post a new one it is such a blessing to have another one! I sound like a crazy fan but really you bless me so much to share your life and your time with us. I am so thankful to God for your wisdom and for your courage to minister online like this.

Marie, you have expressed my own heart and experience listening here. ❤️ I listen while doing chores AND re-listen at night when I cannot sleep. :) There is something so honest, humble and godly about these talks that is immensely soothing even while yet challenging us to do our best in life. What a blessing to have this little community here....and all different ages and backgrounds. ❤️ What a blessing Mrs Sherman is.

Oh, I love the book "Wonders of Nature." I bought a copy for my children probably 7 or 8 years ago. At that time many Little Golden Books were still available. I don't know if that is still the case, but maybe I should try to get a few more copies for future grandchildren!

Dianne, Laura, Marie, Yes you are all starting to sound like "Groupies" but I appreciate the support because its like a report card ;-) You will have to learn to be more "modest" with your approvals. I think there is no good my being online unless it is helpful or effective for someone. I dont think I got that Little Golden Book about nature. I'll check and see.

Love your section on appearance early. I must confess that I’ve not been a very early riser so need to work on getting to bed earlier at night and restructure my schedule so I might spend time in prayer and reading the Bible earlier, get the outside chores done earlier and still be presentable earlier.

Oh, I thought that was the one you were showing! I wasn't paying close enough attention. Maybe you were showing the one called My Little Book About God, or something like that? They both feature the charming illustrations of Eloise Wilkins. Many of those old Little Golden Books are so sweet. Little Mommy is still my favourite, though! I also really like the one called Daddies.

I don't have all those lovely books. I want to find them. The price is sometimes very high on the web but every now and then they appear in stores.

Lydia, I just checked and both the books I mentioned and many others, including Little Mommy, are available for as little as $5 new on Amazon. I'm so glad these books are still available so I can start collecting new copies for my grandchildren. My oldest daughter is 21 now and thinking of marriage!
