Mrs. Sherman, I loved your video today! Great tips and advice on being creative in our homes as well as opening our homes to bless others. Thank you for the encouragement you bring to homemakers.❤️
Thanks! I was able to tackle my nemesis, the dining table / desk/ homeschool center from papers and a week's worth of mail. I put recipes in binders and set up school work for next week. I was surprised to hear you have lived in the manse for 30 years! That's incredible! Was glad to hear it.
I hope you are doing well. I must tell you, I just enjoy your talks oh so much. I wait for them so I can sit and crochet by the fire (although those days are coming to an end with spring approaching quickly!). My eldest daughter (17) also loves to hear what you have to say. I really appreciate the work you put into your talks. I only wish they could be kept as a recording to re-listen to in years to come.
God bless you and all the hard work you put into your blog and online talks. And thank you for your beautiful ministry. It is my favorite mentoring and encouragement for my motherhood and homemaking journey.
Readers are welcome to go to my YouTube channel (it’s titled Lydia Sherman and has teacups on the videos), to download my videos on to your computer, on discs or sticks. I have not done it yet but some of my family is doing it for me.
If I had had these talks when a young mother , I believe it would have spared me many a confused heartache, as none around me encouraged my love of home and children and I often felt pressured to be "more". Your talks help us all, at every age....but I'm so thankful especially that you are such an encouragement to "those that are with young". It was such good advice today about planning ahead for our children so that they will be encouraged to remain in areas closer to family geographically. It's so hard seeing our children move away. Thank you, Lydia, for every topic, every word. You are a dear friend to us all. 💙
I enjoyed this. Today, I'm working on decluttering my bedroom, which started out as a Hoarders' Show nightmare. But, I'm doing it myself with a "life coach," who encourages me to keep going weekly. These videos are a like having a friend with me. Thank you!

Home is our last refuge of freedom and rest. It is becoming more important than anything.
