I am just starting to catch up on your videos from the past couple of months. This was so good! Citizenship is such an important thing to teach to our children. Good conversational skills are sadly lacking in a lot of people--and it truly does start in the home. Great words of wisdom and advice here. Thank you!
Isn't the term "domestic tranquility" pleasant to the ear?
I listened to this talk while I tidied up the kitchen and arranged some flowers in a mason jar to decorate the table--zinnias, snap dragons, cosmos, hyssop and queen Anne's lace. It's certainly not professional looking but it's very colourful. :)
I suspect the only way to encourage good conversation is to do it yourself. As the saying goes, if you want anyone right.
That is a very good refinement activity.
