One small, positive thought
in the morning
can change
your whole day.
Please enjoy your home while you hear today's edition of Homemaking Radio:
In the video I read from I John 4:20. Often people want to leave home for ministry, yet they lack the skills to live in harmony at home.
I also quoted the character of Mrs. Elton from Jane Austen's "Emma":
"I am blessed with so many resources within myself, the world is not necessary to me. I could do very well without it."

Hello Mrs. Sherman. While listening last evening, I made banana 🍌 bread and cleaned my kitchen. I appreciate your company. It helps to Have your gaming voice speaking and encouraging me as I regain my energy after Covid.
Today I'll finish this video while I make something with the tomatoes from my garden.
Bless you!

What an excellent talk! It was instructive and inspiring. I especially enjoyed that Victorian magazine article - what a treasure of wisdom.
I listened to this talk while I tidied the kitchen, and then while I tidied my bedroom, which included organizing all the adhesive bandages in our first aid kit. I keep buying more bandages every time I go to the dollar store, and I accidentally bought way more than what we'll need. I probably have a five year supply! Oh well, better to have too many than too few. :)
Thanks for writing, Kim.
So glad you are all doing small things and feeling good about being home. Please pray for me to find my way to the “studio” to make broadcasts more often. I’d like to do it daily but home life is too busy.
Dear Lydia,
Thank you so much for your company as we do our homemaking. It gets much more creative listening to your sweet suggestions and ideas. Even though you always say it´s for listening, it´s a real pleasure also watching your lovely dresses, so beautiful, and the corners of your home. I always learn something or feel inspired to find beauty in some way.
The article you read for us deals with a topic not very popular today. Most women, even in Christian circles, have no clue that there exist such things as feminine virtues, the true, delicate and strong at the same time, feminine soul, expressing itself out in manners, voice tone, dressing, skills and compassion for others. We´ve lost a lot along the last decades. Now and then I see photos of Christian ladies conferences and, oh my, most of them don´t even look like women! Shining like real women of God in these days is certainly no small task, so every post and article of yours is precious.
God bless you.
Thank you so much for your video and sharing your thoughts about homemaking. As a stay-at-home mom for the past 18 years, hearing your thoughts about patience, peacefulness, and love while raising children reinforced the path I took. I look forward to watching and listening to more of your videos.
I've done several things while listening because it's been over a few days. Laundry folding, dishes and currently, cutting up okra. I enjoy listening.
Very interesting article! I am reading a lot of Grace L. Hill bks and it's funny how very little has changed in the past 100 years - we are still talking about the same attitudes and how women are taking on masculine traits, though I do think it's way worse now. Enjoyed all of your teaching!
