Thank you Mrs. Sherman. I like the idea of just cleaning the home when you can not afford decorations. I like the sweater you are wearing in this video also.😄
I love these videos!!!!!! I usually forget to comment!
Today while I listened, I fixed my hair and make up and got dressed and then started the laundry. I paused the video and had breakfast with my family and worked on our schoolwork. I finished the video when I was going through the refrigerator to clean it out and then I chopped veggies for our soup tonight.
Listening to you was surely a bright way to get my homemaking chores completed! ❤️
I cleaned 2 bathrooms while I listened. It made my least favorite chore so much nicer. I also swept my front porch area and cleaned the glass on my storm door. Thank you for these videos! You have a very gentle way of talking that is so nice to listen to.
Hi I really enjoy all of your videos they are really inspiring and I am learning a lot.So glad I found you. I got the ironing done today while listening to you. God bless you
Ironing is a favorite for these videos. I hope to do more. I wonder if any of you would mind if I had the camera on a tea set during my talks, instead of having to be on camera myself What do you think? Does it make any difference?
Dear Lydia, I listened to your latest housewife radio program on Monday morning. I was particularly excited to listen to your encouragement at that time; Monday mornings seem to be a bit more difficult for me to get motivated on my housework. I was even tempted to forgo getting dressed first, but then I heard those familiar words from you to take care of our appearance before we start in on our day. It really helped, and it made me feel more energized for accomplishing those things on my list. Thanks for the timely reminder! After that, I was able to clean the bedroom, iron some clothes, clean the bathroom, and prepare lunch. As always, it’s such a blessing to welcome you into my home through these videos. Gratefully yours, Holly
Holly, thank you. I sometimes do a few bits of necessary housework before getting dressed but I know it works better when fully dressed, approaching the home as something important.
I listened to this talk today while I made a big pot of beef stew. It was ironic that while I was listening to the part about bringing solitude, peace and relaxation into the home, I was foolishly rushing around the kitchen, and I knocked a glass bowl off the counter and broke it. Lesson learned. :)
I love being able to glance at the screen once in a while and see you, it makes me feel like someones with me chatting, please don't change. Either way, you are amazing and have helped me more than I can possibly tell you. Thank you! ❤
I usually listen to you while I'm doing the dishes. I am now trying to wake up thanking God for things. This is changing the way I start my day. Thankyou I agree with the other comment about the camera on you. It makes it more personable... like you are becoming our friend and mentor.

but as I said in a previous video, you now have a recently swept floor or cleaned area from the broken glass :-)
