Thank you for another great video. I was making an apple dapple cake as I listened to your friendly voice. I especially liked when you observed how some people around us, even more if they are unbelievers, don't seem to be happy seeing us living, speaking and moving calmly. It's shocking for them. It reminded me of that verse in Isaiah, something like "in calm and in quietness will be your strength". Maybe that's how we are called to shine as little lights in the world, by being intentionally trusting God, like seeing what others can't see.

Christians take the problem to God and then get back to life. The faithless rehearse the fear to keep their adrenaline going

Thank you Lydia or should i say mum. We always watched your videos with my mum although she passed on in January. Ever since watching and listening to your wisdom always makes me feel that mums guidance is still there for me. Such an inspirational message when we are in this lock down. I love you so much you are my mentor in motherhood and home-keeping. God bless you and keep you longer.

Dear Lydia,

It is always time well spent listening to your broadcasts while working. I leave feeling more equipped to take on my Homemaking day!

I am thankful you addressed fear and faith today. I have been renewing my mind daily in God’s Word, resting in the only truth we can depend upon during any season of life. It was encouraging to hear you talk about the little mustard seed of faith. We don’t need ALL of it at once; we need, however, to place it in the right place... not in all the support systems our world has grown accustomed to having. There were so many nuggets of truth in your talk today. I am sure it will be a video that we keep referring back to time and time again. Thank you, Lydia, for the sweet visit and encouragement.

Blessings,
Holly

Mrs. Lydia,
Thank you for your encouraging videos and blog posts. I am 34, homeschooling mother of two girls and also part of the church of Christ in Alabama. It is very encouraging to listen to someone older than me that helps in homemaking skills, while I’m doing dishes or folding clothes. I really enjoy your encouragement and tips on homeschooling. I am trying to use my own books and curriculum that I find along the way. I like the simple way and it being not too stressful. I just wanted to tell you how much joy I get and insight from you.

Thank you,
Priscilla

Dear Mrs. Sherman,
Thank you for your video. I really appreciated the part about faith and having fear. I admit I have been fearful during these times and I am going to try your suggestions on sharing faith. I was relaxing and cleaning as I listened - and got dressed this morning! Lol! Pls keep making your videos!
