"And above all these things, put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts...and be thankful." Colossians 3:14

Dear Lydia,
What a blessing to listen in on today’s broadcast... yes, it is definitely difficult to not mention “the war,” but you managed to buffer it nicely with all of your refinement ideas.🙂
I learned the hard way about adrenal fatigue. I was one who seldom took a break from the work of the day. I indulged in so called healthy energy drinks that left me feeling more exhausted. Nowadays, I am kind to myself; I take a tea break with a short 15-20 minute nap when I feel overly tired. This energizes me like nothing else. 🙂
I listened to the video of the sounds of nature. I live next to a large cornfield and go to bed at night with the chirping of crickets, so I really love that type of background noise.
It’s an extremely hot, humid day here. I have been inside puttering around the kitchen; this is where the air conditioner unit is located.😏 I plan on writing letters and catching up on my correspondence. I just sent out a newsletter to some friends last week. Boy, did I enjoy that project. It’s been a great way to use up my hefty supply of scrapbooking papers and stickers. Thanks for getting us going on a great idea!
You never cease to bring a smile, a laugh, a truth, and a purpose with each episode. I truly benefit from your encouragement.
Blessings,
Holly
What an interesting lesson today at the end of the video. Imagine that the poor lady that was contradicting you did not realize she was doing it. I'm glad that the story had a happy ending.
Bless you!
You have given me such wisdom and encouragement these past months! I look forward to each video you post. What a simple but heart felt way of passing on what you know to us.
You keep me company, too!
The advice about curing adrenal fatigue was good. Adrenal fatigue is not recognized by the medical profession as a real thing, and I believe that is because it is not something that can be affected with drugs, and therefore is not profitable to diagnose. It is basically what, in earlier days, doctors would diagnose as nervous exhaustion. The nervous system gets overworked by too much stress and worry, or too much hard work, and the person becomes exhausted and worn down. That's why salt is good, because our nervous systems need sodium for the nerve impulses (at least I think that's the reason, but don't quote me on that). In the olden days a patient would be advised to spend a month at the seashore or something like that to relax and wind down. These days, it's harder to relax with the constant bombardment of information and the electronics which keep us up all hours of the night. It's so important for people today to make an effort to get enough rest and relaxation, and step away from the media for at least a portion of their day. The modern lifestyle is really not conducive to good health.
