Visit to A Tea Room

Today we went to a Tea Room/Bed and Breakfast in a town that was quite a distance away. We got home after 8:00 p.m. The lady who invited us I first became acquainted with through my blog a few years ago. Her name is Jan and she comments as Mrs. W.  Our husbands came with us and both thought the food was great.  The collections you see of books and antiques are merchandise, as the tea room is also a shop.

Wendy has the tea areas divided by colors. She has a white room,

                                                              ...a blue room,

                                              ...a green room,

                                       ...a pink room,

                                                  other colors, too.

The tea room was full Of things for sale, including a very large collection of books.

This is also a guest house, and I have so many photographs that it will take a couple of posts to show everything.  I will show the guest rooms upstairs in a separate article and show more of the outdoor area too.  I hope you will click on the pictures for a larger view.

Please see the post above this by clicking on "home" at the upper left on this blog, just under the header, and you will see the next series of pictures featuring the guest rooms.

Wow, I wonder how long the owner had been collecting all her things for. Looks like a very special place for tea.

What a lovely place to visit and have tea and treats. I could spend hours there poking around all the treasures.
